How to make שקשוקה in Slovenia

Objavljeno v kategoriji Foto

First of all, you MUST have two crazy Israelis occupying your kitchen with sharp knifes.

And then the ingredients.

Preparing thina. Thina is a Mediterranean sauce made of sesame seeds. It goes well with a range of foods such as salads, falafels, cold meats, as a dip or bread spread, etc. Ingredients are: tahini (a paste of ground sesame seeds), salt, pepper, olive oil, parsley, garlic, water, cumin, lemon juice.

Shakshouka, also shakshuka, shaqshuqa, chakchouka is ready.

בתאבון!

Shakshouka is Middle Eastern dish consisting of poached or fried eggs cooked in a sauce of tomatoes, peppers, onions, and spices (often including cumin, turmeric, and chillies), and usually served with white bread. It probably originated in Tunisia.
Shakshouka dish is now a staple of Tunisian, Algerian, Egyptian, Moroccan, Somali, and Yemeni cuisines, and is also popular in Israel.

There’s a bottle of Travarica(r)(tm) on the 18th photo. Obvious an important ingredient in the process. But you didn’t mention it in the recipe… (?)

    Anyway… Great post!
